Namaste: Thou art G-d

NAMASTE!

One stands before another, put their hands together,
bows their head slightly, and says, “Namaste.”

What does it mean? In India, and in Yoga studios all over our planet
it’s a common greeting, much like “Shalom” is in Israel. It is a greeting
conveying great respect.

But what is the deeper meaning? “Namaste” means
“I see G-d in you.”
Literally it means “G-d, who dwells within me,
greets G-d, who dwells with you.”

Or, most simply: “Thou art G-d.”
